- GAM promotes sustainable practices among the staff of Reviver, its machinery remanufacturing plant, with the delivery of Inquieto electric motorcycles for their commutes.
Villacé (León), September 9, 2024 – Inquieto, a company belonging to the GAM group and an expert in integrated last-mile sustainable mobility solutions, is promoting sustainable mobility at Reviver, the multinational’s machinery remanufacturing plant, by providing employees with electric motorcycles for their commutes.
As part of its environmental policy, Reviver seeks to minimize its carbon footprint, not only through cleaner processes in its plant and the remanufacturing of machinery, but also by promoting sustainable practices among its workforce. Sustainable mobility has become one of the plant’s strategies, so Inquieto’s electric motorcycles not only become a practical and efficient means of transportation for employees, but also contribute to the reduction of Reviver’s polluting emissions, aligning with the environmental objectives of its collaborating companies.
Inquieto’s Business Intelligence Director, José Luis Vázquez, highlights the company’s role as a catalyst for change towards a greener future. “The collaboration with the plant is an example of how companies can work together to integrate sustainable mobility solutions that benefit both the environment and employees. Our electric scooters will be a key part of helping Reviver achieve its sustainability goals and improve the quality of life for its team.”
In addition to providing the vehicles, Inquieto has coordinated with Reviver the organization of a road safety training course, led by Kirleo, GAM’s technical professions trade school. This course aims to ensure that employees are fully trained to use electric scooters safely and responsibly on public roads, promoting a culture of sustainable mobility inside and outside the company.
“At Reviver, we believe that sustainability should not only be a corporate goal, but an integral part of our employees’ daily lives. By offering these electric scooters, we are making it easier for our team to adopt a greener lifestyle, while improving their quality of life with a practical and clean means of transportation,” said Julio Caamaño, the plant’s technical director.
This initiative promoted by Inquieto is aligned with the GAM group’s global strategy to promote more sustainable and responsible actions, reinforcing its commitment to environmental protection and the well-being of its employees. The company will continue to explore new ways to integrate sustainability into all aspects of its strategy, demonstrating that it is possible to combine business growth with respect for our planet.
